Renditions of the Soul Album Cover
One of the few reasons I want to stay in Manila is the chance to listen to Renditions of the Soul on Wave 89.1. It airs every Friday 7pm with replays on Sundays at 10pm featuring Soul Siren Nina singing live. Nina having one of the most soulful voices in the Philippines soothes the airwaves with her own and unique rendition of male songs from Brian Mcknight to Michael Bolton and band hits like Drive and Wish You Were Here by Incubus. Thanks YouTube I can catch some episodes of Nina’s performances on Wave 89.1 while I’m here in Iloilo.
There is another reason to be thankful now that Warner Philippines has released Renditions of the Soul, Nina’s 8th album which features songs she sang in her weekly radio show. After scoring Gold and Platinum Awards in the past years, she is surely gonna reign the local record sales this year with this soulful and easy listening CD.
Renditions of the Soul is a 17-track album with He’s Out of My Life, a Michael Jackson original as the carrier single. It includes, Cold Summer Nights, Home, Half Crazy, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Go the Distance, One Last Cry and more.
